About the Couple

Maggie and Emmett were engaged on October 12th, 2021 in Aruba. Read about their engagement on our Manfredi Memories page!

The couple was married in Westport, Co. Mayo, Ireland in June 2023.

"Our wedding really was such a celebration of everything we love, Family, Friends and Ireland. It was unbelievable to be able to have everyone we love in one room and never mind the fact that that room was in Ireland. Emmett’s family is from Mayo and I had visited a few times and absolutely fallen in love with it. Our family and friends have heard us talk about visiting and finally being able to show them all of our favorite places there was something we never even imagined was possible before. The whole week was one big celebration and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! Our wedding was all about the beauty and culture of Ireland. We didn’t have a million flowers or extra favors etc. on purpose. We wanted to spend time with our guests explore Westport and sharing the places we love across Mayo. The ceremony was something that surprised us, in being very special and emotional. Ballintubber Abbey is such a magical place. To be able to walk into a full Church with all of our family and friends was truly something I will never forget. There is really a magical energy there that really was felt by all. Emmett’s family friend Fr. Ronnie Boyle was our priest and his homily was so incredibly personal and thoughtful. There wasn’t a dry eye in the whole Church. After the ceremony, I was most emotional as so many filed out of the Church and congratulated us. It was overwhelming to visually see all the love and support Emmett and I clearly have. Our first dance song was Love You Anyway by Luke Combs. We walked out of the Church together to Brown Eyed Girl which was so fun and really set the tone for the rest of the day- we are having fun!!!" - Maggie
